A number of shelters for flood victims have been established in Larimer and Weld counties because of flooding from the Big Thompson, Poudre, and South Platte Rivers.  Here is a quick list for you:

LARIMER COUNTY

 

  • Thompson Valley School Administration Building in Loveland - 800 S. Taft Avenue
  •  Lyons Elementary School in Lyons - North of High Street on 4th
  • Pinewood Springs Fire Department in Lyons - 61 Kiowa Road
  • Mountain View Bible Fellowship in Estes Park - Highway 7 at Peak View Drive
  • Tavelli Elementary in Fort Collins - 1118 Miramont Drive
  • Timberline Church in Fort Collins - 2908 South Timberline Road
  • The Ranch in Loveland is accepting large animals from evacuees.

WELD COUNTY

 

  •  The Red Cross Shelter for the Greeley/Evans area is at the Greeley Recreation Center at 651 10th Avenue. They will have crisis trained therapists at the shelter starting at 7 this morning (Monday, September 16).   Do not bring donations to the shelter.
