One motorcycle rider, and his girlfriend riding on the back, were thrown from their bike, when a driver of a car they were passing intentionally swerved and hit them.
Now, admittedly, the driver of the motorcycle was driving aggressively, and tried passing a double yellow line. However, let the authorities deal with that... the most they would have gotten is a ticket. However this guy took maters into his own hands and now may be charged with attempted homicide. Especially since the entire ordeal was captured on video, with the driver of the car stating "I don't care." When he finally realized that he was in trouble, he then attempted a lame excuse that a wasp flew into his car.

According to Lane Splitter, the driver of the bike suffered road rash, while his girlfriend was taken to intensive care after the crash. Though passing a car with a double yellow line is obviously against the law. The driver of the bike stated the reason for his attempted pass, was due to the driver of the car going 20 miles an hour below the speed limit. The driver of the car was not arrested at the time, however it is being stated in the article, that they are going to prosecute him.
