It sure wasn’t a great day for the Denver Broncos on Sunday (Nov 8, 2015), losing to the Indianapolis Colts- a game many thought the Broncos would dominate.  Missed calls, missed catches, and a key interception were all a part of the loss 24-27.  The defense, however, is definitely making the headlines after the game.  First, Aqib Talib poking that one player in the eye, and now accusations about Von Miller.

I, for one, couldn’t believe it when Aqib Talib went up and poked that Colt player (#83 Allen) in the eye.

It looked like you poked Allen or were trying to jab at his facemask.

‘Yeah, I tried to poke his head or something,’ Talib said. “I don’t know. You probably seen it on tape or something, a video or something?’

Right. And on the video it looks like you poked him. In the eye.

‘Oh, you probably know better than me.”

“Oh, Man. You think I play football to poke someone in the eye?”

I don’t. But other people might.

“All right, well it was an honest mistake. I tried to poke his head, then he kind of went back or something. (Explicative) happens fast. I don’t know”

OK, tempers flare, a guy gets poked in the eye. Talib has been suspended for one game for the infraction.  But then, I see the Vonn Miller is also being accused of nasty doings.  They’re saying that with about a minute left in the game, after tackling Colt Jack Doyle, Von Miller gave Doyle a knee to the throat. It’s hard to tell, exactly. He does take his time getting off of Doyle:

What do you think? IS there an extra 'Here ya go, Buddy' to the throat?

Talib and Miller are both exceptional players. Hopefully, these incidents don't come back to hurt them or the team.
