Bundle up on Wednesday, December 9 for the annual Bike to Work Day in Fort Collins – winter edition.

Just because the temperature is cold, doesn't mean you can't still take advantage of exercising outdoors. Not only does biking benefit the environment by reducing traffic and air pollution, but it's great for people too, in that it burns calories, reduces stress, and saves money on gas. Make sure you dress for the conditions to keep warm on your riding route and don't forget things like gloves, a hat and warm jacket. Also remember to check  that your light(s) are properly functioning being that it will most likely be dark by the time the workday is over and it comes time to ride home.

Between 7 and 9:30 a.m., cyclists can stop by one of the free breakfast stations around town, where they will be greeted by friendly faces, food, and hot coffee, before pedaling on to work. FC Bikes will also be providing free bicycle repairs at these stations, in case something happens on the way.
