Dancing Porcupine at Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado Springs [VIDEO]

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is one of the most beautiful zoos in America. The zoo is in southwest Colorado Springs on the side of Cheyenne Mountain, just above and to the west of The Broadmoor Hotel.

I'll never forget the 1st time I ever visited. The highlight for me was the porcupines. Still remember a kid running up the trail and calling out to us, "Have you seen the dancing porcupine?" We did shortly after that and my wife and I have talked about it ever since.

Now the porcupines can be found in the Rocky Mountain Wild section of the zoo. You can see porcupine as you may have never seen them before – in a tree, just as they do in the wild. I don't know if the porcupines still dance but I did find a YouTube video of the dancing porcupine at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. It brings back some great memories.
