Dancing is a thing for me.

I’m a DJ. Can you imagine a DJ that doesn’t dance? Actually, I know plenty that won't shake it. They aren’t in the business for the boogie.

I get it. Dancing is putting yourself out there. If you are dancing like nobody’s watching…well, that’s definitely the best way to do it. But when the time comes to dance we are often surrounded by people who can and do look at us. Unless the club or show is empty. And the band is blind.

I’m willing to bust a move with reckless abandon, but thought since I love to shake it like a Polaroid picture, it wouldn’t hurt to get a few pointers from a professional.

So, I invited Brielle Oakes from Contemporary Dance Academy into my studio so she could help me with a few pointers and steps that I can use in the studio and beyond.
