Salsa dancing began in the 1970’s in New York City.  Can you imagine?  The high-flying disco days and Salsa? Must have been a hoot!  Now, 30 years later, you can take up the provocative dance – in Loveland

One of the theories of Salsa being called ‘Salsa’ is that it’s a mixture of different dances, like the food salsa is a mixture of different spices and ingredients. But it doesn’t really matter where the term comes from, it just matters that it looks like whoever is doing ‘The Salsa’, they look like they’re really enjoying themselves!

Maybe you’ve thought about lessons but haven’t gotten around to it.  Maybe your significant other keeps pestering you to take lessons with them.   Why not head to Downtown Loveland this weekend, and get started with FREE lessons?  You’ll probably enjoy it, and you might even make some new friends!

The Boar and Bull in downtown has started to offer free beginner salsa lessons every Saturday night! It’s a butcher shop. I guess it does kind of sound like New York, a butcher shop, so Salsa does kind of make sense. They sell alcohol as well, so that will help you loosen your hips a bit, right?

The lessons start at 7 p.m., the Boar and Bull is open until 10:00 p.m. on Saturday nights.  Honestly, this could be the liveliest thing going on in Downtown, so why not check it out?

Who’s ready to Salsa?
