CU Boulder Campus Closer to Going Smoke-Free

Flickr, Elfleda

The University of Colorado Boulder went smoke free on Monday. The campus has banned all smoking on campus except for designated smoking areas, and those smoking areas could go away in December as well.  A banner on the CU website says:

“Welcome to our smoke free campus.  For your health and the health of our community, thank you for not smoking on the CU-Boulder campus.”

CU is now part of 1,100 schools to ban smoking across the country.
