I loved my college years.  Colorado State University treated me pretty darn well, overall.  I was always a little miffed, though, that the campus's multi-million dollar renovation was just barely getting underway when I graduated.  But then again, I'm a junkie for shiny, brand new, state-of-the-art...anything.  So I like to keep up with how the upgrades are going at my old Alma mater.

I don't know how I missed the plan to completely revitalize the Lory Student Center, but it looks like that's what they've been doing recently!

During the next year, the 50-year-old building is set to get a complete overhaul. Crews will renovate the 160,000-square-foot facility at the heart of campus and add an additional 40,000-square-feet, bringing in new features such as a microbrewery and weaving in cherished historical characteristics as a tribute to the past.

I don't find myself wishing I was younger very often (at least, not yet); but oh man, I would have loved to be a student at CSU once all these renovations are done!  Oh well...

In any case, check out the video below for more on the student center's facelift!
