We already know where the Larimer County Sheriff stands on stricter gun control (in a word, opposed); but Colorado State University has gone the other direction.

There is currently a bill in the Colorado legislature that seeks to ban all concealed weapons on college campuses, even in the case of people with concealed carry permits.

CSU has officially come out in support of the bill.

Mike Nosler, general counsel for the CSU System, testified before the (House Education Committee) that the university system supports the proposed ban, and defended it as consistent with both the Colorado Constitution and the Supreme Court ruling that it targets. He said both legal guideposts give the Legislature authority to narrow or expand concealed-carry laws.

Obviously, gun control is still a very hot-button issue right now, so where do you stand with this latest development?  Sound off in the comments section below.
