As if stealing an ambulance wasn't enough, the student from CSU now faces assault charges after attacking deputies at the Larimer County Jail.

As the Denver Channel reported, the CSU student that has been accused of stealing an ambulance has now also been of accused of attacking two deputies at the Larimer County jail.

18-year-old Stefan Sortland was booked into the Larimer County jail to face charges including aggravated vehicle theft, obstructing EMS, reckless driving, hit-and-run, criminal mischief and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

The Larimer County Sheriff's Office said a few hours later, while Sortland was in the booking area at the jail, two deputies were bringing the suspect lunch and he attacked both of them. Sortland is accused of punching one deputy in the face causing a concussion and facial swelling, officials said.

A second deputy suffered an abrasion and finger sprain during attempts to gain control of Sortland, according to the Sheriff's Office.
