CSU Stadium Cost Projected at $246 Million

A new stadium on the CSU campus could cost $246 million, and could generate enough revenue to make the university financially independent and self-sustaining. This comes at a time of increasing tuition and higher costs for advanced education across the nation and the world.

A meeting to discuss the stadium was packed with supporters and opponents as the findings of an investigation were revealed along with an artist rendering of the new stadium. Comments and questions from the crowd were not taken. CSU has penciled the price tag into their budget, though the money would have to come from private donors.
