CSU Professor Advances to Quarterfinals on Jeopardy! Tournament

An Assistant Professor of Atmospheric Science at CSU appeared on Jeopardy again last night, and he won. Russ Schumacher advanced to the quarterfinals on the Battle of the Decades show.

Schumacher  was a four-day champion and winner of the 2004 tournament of champions. Russ told me last night he will be back on TV again the week of May 5th, but didn't know which day yet. He is flying out to tape the show again in a couple weeks.

In 2003 he won $64,800 as a four-day champion.  He won $250,000 in the Tournament of Champions in 2004. He was a graduate student at CSU at the time.
