All this week MAX construction will remove trees north of Drake Road and east of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway tracks in Fort Collins. The trees being removed are part of a MAX construction  plan that includes transplanting or recycling and installation of replacement trees.

Following tree removal, the guideway area will be cleared for utility installation and guideway construction.

At this time, crews are removing and recycling the remaining trees where the guideway will be constructed. The project’s tree mitigation plan includes new trees to replace those lost due to disease, poor condition or removal.
