Could the End of Glitter Be Near?

My wife loves glitter... When I say loves, I mean LOVES glitter. In fact, there are plenty of people I know who love glitter. It's sparkly, fun and it literally sticks to anything.

That is where the problem comes in. From crafts to clothing, glitter is everywhere and environmental scientists are urging for a global ban on glitter.  Glitter, which is made up of tiny plastic particles has scientists arguing their stance on the ban due to the particles making their way into oceans, lakes and rivers.
