According to Mashable, a national chain restaurant with many locations throughout the state of Colorado will start experimenting with the "No Tipping Policy" at a few of it's locations throughout the country.

Joe's Crab Shack is the first major American chain to take such a stance and will start with the new policy at 18 of its restaurants. There is no confirmation if any of the Colorado locations are included in the experimental stage.

Front of the house workers could see their hourly wages increase to $12-$14 an hour with some employees making more. The tip line has already been eliminated on the receipts of restaurants that the policy is being started in, and there is signage in locations informing customers of the change.

Prices initially will increase at the "no tipping" restaurants around 12% - 15% but it depends on the location and could be changed as the policy gets rolled out nationwide.

Joe's Crab Shack has locations in Westminster, Aurora, and Colorado Springs.
