If you’ve never been in a Cost Plus World Market, you don’t know what you’re missing. Furniture, home decor, food/snacks, kitchen stuff, and all kinds of things fill the World Market shelves, and most of it is probably stuff you won’t find anywhere else.

As I was driving through Front Range Village I was stoked to see a sign at the old Ultimate Electronics location that a Cost Plus would, in fact, be opening soon in Fort Collins.According to the Loveland Reporter-Herald, the specialty import store will fill nearly 18,000 square feet at 4357 Corbett Drive (next door to Sprouts Farmers Market) in Fort Collins’ Front Range Village.

A exact date has not been chosen for an opening but plans are to have the doors open sometime this summer.

The Oakland, Calif.-based chain, which operates about 260 stores nationwide, sells furniture and household decor, kitchen and bath furnishings, gifts and food, including goodies that shoppers have encountered in their international travels.

As of right now, the closest Cost Plus locations to us are in Thornton and Boulder.

Anyone else out there as excited as I am?
