Sure, it may be August, but if you think you saw your breath this morning, you probably did. It was 48 degrees in Fort Collins today, and let it be said that I'm craving a pumpkin spice latte. 

7 News Denver, this morning, your thermometer probably only reached the 40s and 50s, and the high today will peak in the low 70s.They also reported that Rocky Mountain National Park saw some light dusting of snow.

Usually if we're setting record temps in August, it's for sweltering summer heat. While people like me are loving that feeling of crisp Autumn air and getting to wear pants, the temperatures will rise again towards the end of the week. But hey, we can enjoy it for the day.

The National Weather Service in Boulder stated that this morning's temperatures tied the record low in Denver for August 18, which was set in 1960.
