Colorado’s Summer Wedding Shows

You said "YES!" Now, what? Sifting through Pinterest can be a neverending trail of fantastic ideas for your wedding but when are you going to have time to pull them off, continue working, and make sure you are looking your very best for your big day?

I get it. Planning a wedding is incredibly stressful. I used to watch "Bridezillas" and wonder how in the world those girls ever found someone to marry them with the kind of attitude they had on the show.

Planning my November wedding I am going to stop short of saying that I am becoming one of them, but, I'm thisclose. I feel like a little kid who has just walked into Buffalo Wild Wings for the first time. I am incredibly overwhelmed by choices of foods, booze, fabrics, makeup, hair, centerpieces; flowers, save the dates, invitations, (PAUSE: Sips wine), photo booth or no photo booth, activities following the wedding, photographer, videographer, accommodations, registries, what day and time should the parents arrive, DJ, decorations, invite list, (PAUSE: Sips more wine).

"Don't stress out" people will say. And they are right. People are not going to leave your wedding remembering the specific things; they are going to walk away with memories of love and laughter and in the case of my Aunt Betty a piece of cutlery and some salt & pepper shakers. Seriously, how many salt & pepper shakers does one woman need?

Luckily, living in Northern Colorado, we have access to a lot of wedding shows around the Front Range. Here are just a few to check out if you need help narrowing in on your ideal day. And remember. Don't stress. This day is about and for you, and your person.

In addition to these wedding shows, check with venues you are interested in, I've been finding a lot of them are holding tours and open houses.
