Hearkening back to an article that I posted in late 2015, Colorado University is releasing results of a study on the importance of gut bacteria to our overall health.

It can't be underestimated. A large part of our immune system exists in and comes from our stomach. It is the frontline against sickness and disease.

We compromise its ability to be effective in that when we eat too many foods that are too high in sugars. That was what I wrote and shared about the last time we broached the subject.

This time, I want you to watch the video from TheDenverChannel.com about Colorado University's findings that exercise can have an impact on what is happening in our gut.
The gist of it? Well, it's probably similar to what you thought.
In the study, the mice that they studied that were in the 'exercise group' had more benefits than the mice that were not in that group.

This adds fuel to our wellness fire, where we are coming to believe some simple facts about our health.

  1. Life is a 'Move it or lose it' proposition. We must exercise.
  2. We have to be in control of our own health. Doctors treat problems. It is our job to prevent them. Prevention is in our corner.
  3. Just because a food has a healthy image on the package does not mean it's good for us. We have to be actively involved in knowing how what we are eating will affect us.
  4. We can do it!
