Colorado State Patrol cares about lives - all nine of them. So when a cat was found stuck on the I-25 median during rush hour this morning, they came to its rescue.

Denver7 shared CSP's photo of the cat, held by Trooper Thorne, following the rescue just before 9 a.m. on I-25 near the Castle Pines Parkway exit in Douglas County. They say animal control provided assistance and the injured cat was taken to the Buddy Center in Castle Rock for treatment and to attempt contacting its owner.
