With all the news this week with celebrities being ‘exposed’ from iCloud, let’s talk about something more serious. Your kids and Snapchat. The pics and videos your kids are sending disintegrate upon opening with Snapchat, so there’s little you can do to see WHAT they’re sending.

Until now.

There’s being a ‘helicopter parent’, then there’s being oblivious. You have to ride the in-between carefully. You want your child to have the independence of having their own phone, but you don’t want them sexting with it, right?

I don’t have kids, but if I did Snapchat would scare the heck out of me. It gives you the chance to send stuff and not have it remain on your phone. It’s devious in it’s simplicity. It doesn’t even stay on the recipients’ phones. It’s just gone. I would want to know if MY kid was using this to hide his or her ‘sexting’ activity, that’s for sure.

Along comes this service, that for $40 a month- that will let you know. Sounds like chump change for comfort to me. It’s MSpy. It goes onto your kid’s phone – where they PROBABLY won’t notice it, and it will send YOU a copy/report of calls, texts, pics and videos sent from their phone.

Don’t worry about Snapchat somehow losing money on this- they're rumored to be selling out for around TEN BILLLION DOLLARS. So…

I’d do it!
