Colorado has 1st Case of Measles Since 2006
The Colorado Department of Public Health has been notified of an adult male who visited the Denver metro area from India on May 14th and tested positive for measles on June 4th. The patient visited a small private physician’s office and was later hospitalized at Sky Ridge Medical Center. Both facilities are notifying exposed patients. Unvaccinated patients and visitors who were at Sky Ridge Medical Center between May 25th and 27th may be at risk for developing measles. These people should contact their health care provider if they experience a rash and fever.
The Denver Post has a little more on this story.
