Starting today, Wednesday August 5, 2015 a new law goes into effect for the State of Colorado. This new law is aimed at getting the habitual offender off the road.

As KDVR reported, the law has changed for those who choose to drink and drive in Colorado.

For the repeated drunk driver, they would face felony charge on a fourth DUI conviction. They could be sent to prison for up to six years and be hit with a $500,00 fine.
