I love a dog story with a happy ending.

In a horrifying turn of events, a woman walking her big, cute, fluffy dog was lucky enough to happen to be near a police officer when said dog slipped into a rushing stream.

The water along their path is usually calm, and probably shallow enough for the big dog to walk right through.

With the soaked spring we've had in Northern Colorado, though, the dog found itself in danger, and the bodycam of the cop caught clips of what could have been a catastrophe, but ended up being ok.

Thank goodness!

Just keep in mind, during this heavy spring runoff, and with all of the rain we're getting, any flowing waterway should be considered dangerous for humans and the canines that love them.
