Win - Win situations are optimal, aren't they? Say you could buy something you were going to buy anyway, and the money you spent would go to an important charity that keeps the money local thereby affecting more people in and from our community. You'd be in for that, right? Well, that's the situation on Friday Oct. 21, 2011 at all Northern Colorado Human Bean locations. Buy your coffee there, and all proceeds will benefit local breast cancer groups because October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I spoke with Frank Sherman from the Human Bean and he told us where the money goes.

It goes to the Poudre Valley Health System Oncology Patient Navigator Fund...The Lydia Dody Hope Lives Breast Cancer foundation, that's the second place the Fort Collins store [Human Bean] donations goes to. In our four Weld County stores it goes to the North Colorado Medical Center Breast Cancer fund.
