City Park Pool – Best Places to Swim in Fort Collins
The City Park Pool is a family favorite.
It's big, it has a huge slide, the views of Sheldon Lake are fabulous, and there is plenty of parking. Plus, if you want to work up a sweat before your dip, you have the entire park in which to do so.
You could play 9 holes at City Park Golf Course, or throw in a line at Sheldon Lake and catch some fish, then go swimming.
City Park Pool opens May 24 at 10 a.m. $4.50 (special admission price May 24-26) per person, no age restriction.
This is a great pool because it is like Fort Collins own water park! There is a HUGE slide, a lazy river, geysers, large water play structures, lots of deck and sunning space.
Twilight swim for 2014 is from May 31 to August 31 from 4:30 to close for $4.50 per person.
The ever popular paddle boats, canoes and kayaks on Sheldon Lake make a comeback on Saturday, May 24 as well. Ride the current of Sheldon Lake on a paddle boat for $2.50 per person. No pets please.
City Park Pool will be open daily May 31 through September 1. Admission is $7.00 for adults, $6.00 for children ages 2-17, and children under age 2 are admitted free. Punch passes are sold at a discount from single admission rates and can be purchased at EPIC and Mulberry Pool only. Please remember that children under 8 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible, paying adult in the pool. The adult must be actively participating with the child in the water.
