City Of Greeley To Hand Out Free Showerheads This Weekend
We live in a world where we want or try to save on a lot of things. Water being one of the biggest. This weekend, the City of Greeley helps residents save.
The biggest complaint I have in my home with teens is the length of showers; I am the water police in my castle. It's a constant battle so I look for all the water saving tips I can and this sounds like a good one.
Showering accounts for nearly 17 percent of all residential indoor water use, or about 30 gallons per household per day. That is about 1.2 trillion gallons of water every year in the United States - City of Greeley Website
The City of Greeley Water Conservation Program is again handing out free showerheads. All you have to do is show up at the Winter Greeley Farmers' Market this Saturday with your old nasty showerhead and pick up your new EPA WaterSense showerhead absolutely free. The event is from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
