Christmas Tree Gratitude Giveaway 2013

We give away a lot of stuff all year long. It's our thing.

Well, that and great music. But when we get to this time of year, giving away Christmas trees just feels more...special.

In the past, we've done contests where people write in reasons why they deserve the Christmas tree. It always ends up going to a 'whose life is rougher', pity party kind of contest, and that space doesn't do any of us any good. Check out a snippet of what this article from Deepak Chopra on Oprah's website says:

The answer to feeling poor inside is to gather some riches. I don't know about your past, but somehow you maintain a childlike wish to be dependent, and this is keeping you bereft. So, instead, we are going to do a gratitude based giveaway. Follow the instructions below to win one of the beautiful Christmas trees from Bath Garden Center and Nursery.

1) Think of all the biggest reasons why your life is so great.

2) Write down the reasons why you are so grateful. Keep it to 400 words or less.

3) Enter said reasons in our Gratitude Giveaway

4) Listen to Paul and Susan each weekday between Dec. 16 and 20 at 8:35am to see if your reasons were read on the air. If so, you win the Christmas tree!
