Chip Thieves Busted, Police Chief Struggles to Keep a Straight Face – Drew’s [VIDEO] of the Day

I love this video because 1) It shows how light-hearted Canadian news can be, and 2) It’s a lengthy, in-depth report about drunk girls stealing potato chips.

If this had been covered in America, it would be the 15-second blurb right at the end of the newscast that gets cut if the weather report runs long.  But this story is three minutes long!  I have a journalism degree, and I was always taught that a report was “long” if it went over 90 seconds!  I don’t know…I just smiled through the whole thing.  Especially the police chief trying to keep a straight face.  Enjoy!
