I love Fort Collins. I have lived here since 1986. My Wife and I are proud to call it our home. However, I know what a unique community we live in. There are some things that I see that we can truly say only happen in Fort Collins.
Earlier this week I was driving home from work on Harmony near the Home Depot on JFK Parkway and I saw something I had never seen before. I drove past a guy on a bicycle that made me turn my head so dramatically that I almost wrecked my truck.
You saw it on Facebook yesterday and here is the big reveal. Check out this very short YouTube video of the strangest bicycle I have ever seen.
Seriously, only in Fort Collins.
Who is the Guy on the Bike?
I spoke with the rider of the bicycle on Facebook, Si Siegrist. I asked Si if he built the bicycle and he told me, "A few friends got together yrs ago and welded er up." He is associated with a group called High Society Tall Bikes.
