On May 28 and 29, step back in time for a fun-filled weekend at Centennial Village, as the interactive museum celebrates 40 years as being a part of Greeley's community.

The Centennial Celebration will be taking museum guests back in history, focusing particularly on the years between 1866-1876 – otherwise known as Colorado's Centennial Decade. During the two-day commemoration, visitors will get the opportunity to learn all about the prominent characters and activities that were around the area at this time, and how they helped to shape Colorado's rich, western history. Some of these things include blacksmithing, timber cutting, buffalo soldiers, and Native American tipis. The historic homes that are found on the 8-acre museum property will also be featured among the festivities, complete with guided tours which will explain their original locations and when these homes were moved to Centennial Village.

The hours for the Centennial Celebration will be from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday, and from 12 pm to 5 pm on Sunday. Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors (60+), and $5 for children (3-17). There is also a special family rate of $18 available (max. of 5 people). The Centennial Village Museum is located at 1475 A Street in Greeley.
