March 13th, 2011, a day Jason and Brenna Wadsworth knew was coming, but still dreaded since the previous July. Their three-year-old daughter, their sweet little “Laney Bug,” Delaney Wadsworth left her once healthy, but now cancer stricken, painful body and passed on. A story that touched my heart, and many others deeply as well. That feeling did not end when Laney passed, her story and memory will continue on forever. Please read, watch, cry, hug, love, help others in similar situations and don’t forget to smile too! Make sure to come out to Lures 4 Laney this Sunday, and never forget Delaney!

Jr. JAM! is Today – Family Fun All Day & the Opportunity to Help Fire Victims

When I was a kid I can remember my family always making the comment “I wish I had half as much energy as that kid.” I always got annoyed by it thinking that they were just lazy, and if they really wanted to they could get off the couch and run around in circles and bounce off the walls with me. Now that I have kids of my own I realize that their energy level really is through the roof and people weren’t kidding when they made those comments! I am always looking for creative ways to burn the kid’s energy, and this weekend it’s a no-brainer! Jr. JAM! The day where it’s fun to be a kid.
