Casa Bonita Got Recognized For Public Health

Ya know, it's funny.  Ages of going to Denver to screw off on a Saturday - I have never set foot inside Casa Bonita.  Not even because I don't want to, either.  It's just one of those things that's down my list a ways yet.  Almost as ironic as this story, is that the Gundys are Mexican food addicts!  We don't go more than a week without visiting Pueblo Viejo or Fuzzy Taco.  (Torchy's is next on my list.  Ya been?)

Nope, even visiting Colfax in particular, we used to hit up Pete's Kitchen like it was our religion, before invading what used to be a notably great little stretch of record stores that included Jerry's Record Exchange and Independent Records, both long defunct now (although Independent still thrives in Colorado Springs.)

So, Casa Bonita, it's been a long time coming.  Please go easy on our tummies when that day comes when we have nothing better to do - no yard work, no concerts, no one visiting who we care about - and we cave and stroll into your legendary establishment with our heads down and our tails between our legs.
