Founding Beach Boys mastermind Brian Wilson and U.K. guitar legend Jeff Beck are set to hit the road together this fall on a month-long co-headlining tour of North America.

The trek will get under way on September 27 in Hollywood, California, and is scheduled through an October 27 concert in Akron, Ohio.  The outing includes a previously announced October 20 show at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.

Wilson's Beach Boys band mates Al Jardine and David Marks, who just joined him on a recently completed series of summer performances, also will hit the stage during the upcoming concerts with Beck.  News of the tour comes after Brian announced that Beck, Jardine and Marks are among the special guests contributing to a new studio album that he's recording.

"Jeff is one of the most amazing guitarists I've ever worked with and his vibe is inspiring," says Wilson in a statement.  "I feel having Jeff Beck co-headline with me is a cool and exciting addition.  We've got some new tunes we want to try out on a live crowd as well as doing some great music from our catalogs."

Tickets for the newly announced concerts will be available starting August 9 at LiveNation.com and also will be sold at Ticketmaster.com. (ABC)
