You can help Banner Health and NCMC win a $10,000 donation to help support breast cancer treatment. Banner Health and the staff of North Colorado Medical Center are showing off their dance moves with pink gloves as they observe Breast Cancer Awareness Month and compete in a national contest, the Pink Glove Dance Competition.

Women that develop breast cancer are upset upon their diagnosis, but most want to become an inspiration by encouraging women to have preventative care and treatment. This year a dear friend and co-worker, Linda, a one year survivor, asked to do the Pink Glove Dance. Before a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer they will have a biopsy which can be extremely emotional and frightening. If needed, Linda will talk to a woman about her own experiences, even stopping work to take a moment to care. Linda gives of her time, her energy and she supports the cause. She is real for these women. When she asked to do this Pink Glove Dance to help make others aware, we could not refuse. It is important to her to make her journey and fight with breast cancer a fulfilling experience and to give back and help others with a fight.
