BREAKING NEWS: RUNAWAY 12 YEAR OLD GIRL IN FORT COLLINS.

Larimer County Sheriff's Office is requesting the assistance of members of the public in locating a runaway 12 year old girl.  She was last seen in the area of 401 North Timberline Road at 12:22 p.m. today.

A reverse notification system was initiated, and at approximately 3 p.m. a girl matching the description was seen walking in the area of Mulberry Street and Timberline Road traveling westbound.

At this time there is no suspicion of foul play and it is believed the girl ran away after a disciplinary event at home.  At this time there is no evidence to believe that there is any danger to the general public.

Her name is TATEM DAWN HOLMES, she is 5 feet tall, 100 pounds, has brown hair and hazel eyes.  She was wearing a white sleeveless shirt, blue jeans, white tennis shoes, and was carrying black and pink backpack.

***** UPDATE**** TATEM HOLMES, the 12 year old girl reported earlier as missing, has been located and is safe and well.  After a tip from her family, she was contacted near the Fort Collins Public Library by law enforcement around 7:30 p.m.; she was subsequently reunited with her family.

The Larimer County Sheriff's Office extends their thanks to the media and to the public  for their assistance in locating Miss Holmes.
