Three arrests have been made for the murder of a missing person from the Fort Collins area.

According to a news release, warrants for the arrest of 3 Cincinnati, Ohio, men were issued by the Court in Larimer County for Michael Gresham, Lawrence Greggs, and Joshua Baker, all 20 years of age. All 3 were arrested in Illinois on charges of first-degree murder.

The warrants were requested through a multi-agency investigation into the disappearance of Fort Collins resident, 20-year-old Devon Smeltz, who was reported missing by family members on August 26, 2016. His body was found in Morgan County, Colorado, on September 3.

The suspects were stopped for traffic violations by the Illinois State Police on August 27 and were arrested on charges unrelated to the missing person investigation. On Labor Day, Fort Collins Police Services obtained warrants for their arrest, and they were arrested while in custody of Vermilion County authorities.

Facts surrounding the case are still being investigated, and no further information will be released at this time. All charges are simply an accusation by law enforcement and all parties will be presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

Anyone with further information regarding this case is asked to contact Detective Siobhan Seymour at 970-416-2195 or Crime Stoppers of Larimer County, where you may remain anonymous, at 970-221-6868.
