Boy and Cub Scouts Scout for Food to Help our Food Banks This Weekend

Ding dong… No Ding-Dongs please! Over 1,000 kids will be out this Saturday collecting food on Saturday in their annual ‘Scouting for Food’ event!

This Saturday (Nov 14, 2015) Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts from Loveland, Fort Collins, Greeley and other areas will be going around neighborhoods to collect food for those in need. ‘Scouting for Food’ will happen between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Make plans to make a donation.  Or they may just leave you a bag to put donations into!

Items that they are ‘Scouting’ for, to help out the Food Bank for Larimer County and The Weld Food Bank are-- peanut butter, canned meat in water, low sugar cereal and pasta/rice. Also, canned yams or sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing, beans, corn and pie filling to help with holiday meals.

Be listening for the doorbell on Saturday and be ready to answer the call for help!
