Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest Says No to Selfie Sticks

Some love them and others love to hate those selfie sticks. They can be distracting, in the way and just plain annoying. Selfie sticks will not be allowed at NewWestFest this year.

As the Coloradoan reported, yes it's true, Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest is saying no to the beloved and infamous selfie sticks.

This is not a new thing for the selfie sticks, though. They have been banned in museums, music festivals and even Disney banned the sticks in their theme parks.

What is the big deal?

The reason is that the sticks can be obstructions and annoyances during a concert, hindering others’ experiences.

Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest will also have some additional photography and video rules. They will be asking concert-goers to limit flash photography at evening shows and not do any kind of video recordings of the concerts.
