The body of a man was found in Greeley Sunday afternoon in the Country Club West Open Space.

As the Greeley Tribune reported, the Greeley Police Department has an investigation going into a body that was found on Sunday in the pond of the Country Club West Open Space.

A person out for a walk noticed something something in the water and notified police.

The Greeley police and Fire Department responded, began their investigation and retrieval of the body.

Police are saying, the body was a man who was around 60 years old, but the identity the man is still unknown at this time.

The investigation focused on the east part of the open space on 50th Avenue just south of 10th Street.

At this time it doesn't appear that foul play was involved, but the investigation is still underway.
