Hollywood loves a good story, that’s why this one has been told several times before.  The most recent telling of “A Star Is Born”  was in 1976 starring Barbara Streisand and Kris Kristofferson.  Having a good story isn’t always enough- it takes a skilled director. Beyonce will be in fine company on that front.

Veteran actor/director Clint Eastwood has signed on to direct the upcoming feature!

It’s the classic tale of an up and coming young star (to be played by Beyonce) who falls for an older musician who is in the downfall of his career and his life.

No male lead has been cast so far.

Who do think should star opposite Beyonce?
