It turns my stomach to see people being scammed out of their hard-earned money.  Please share this with your friends and family, and protect your money from horrible people.

The Coloradoan reports that elderly women in Fort Collins and Greeley were recently scammed out of thousands of dollars by men claiming to be employees of the women's respective banks.

The schemes worked like this: Someone claiming to be from the bank’s internal security department called both women and asked them to help catch thieving tellers. The caller told the woman to withdraw money from the bank and hand it over to someone in a nearby parking lot. The caller then called both women back to thank them for their assistance, and to set up a time to return the cash. But they never showed up for the second meeting, (Greeley Police Sgt. Susan West) said.

Police are still investigating how the scammers got the names of the women and their banks.

So if you get a call from someone claiming to be from your bank, asking you to do suspicious things with your money, HANG UP!  Banks will never ask for your personal information over the phone, unless you call them.

I hope this helps put a stop to this terrible scam.

Again, please share this with everyone!
