The Bellvue Bean, a popular coffee shop in the town of Bellvue West of Fort Collins, inexplicably closed its doors back on July 7th, amidst a dispute with neighbors.  Customers have been wondering if the coffee shop would reopen...

...but today, sadly, the owners announced it will not.

In a message to customers posted on the Bellvue Bean’s Facebook page at about 10:30 a.m., (owners Darren and Azarie Wurtzburg) wrote: “Dear Bellvue Bean customers and friends, We would like to extend our deepest gratitude for supporting the Bellvue Bean for nearly three years. Your ongoing patronage was truly appreciated. It is with great sadness that we must let you know that the Bellvue Bean will not reopen. Please remember the Bellvue Bean as it was; a haven for fire evacuees, a supporter of local vendors, a unique art and music venu, and above all a community gather place that welcomed (everyone).”

So far, the owners haven't offered an explanation for the closure, but many suspect it was the dispute with neighbors (and with the county) over traffic issues in the area.
