Bear Family Leaves Boulder Tree

As of yesterday, there was no sign of a family of bears– mom and two cubs- who took up residence in a tree in the University Hill area of Boulder.
This is good news because if they were still in the tree, wildlife officers say they’d be forced to euthanize all three bears because the mother has already been tagged.
They think the bear family was drawn to the area because of food in trash cans nearby.
