Butch

I was born and raised in Greeley, Colorado. Growing up in such a beautiful area has given me an appreciation for what we have here, and I truly embrace the city and all of Northern Colorado. I graduated from the Ohio Center for Broadcasting with a degree in broadcasting in 2009, and it is a dream come true to be playing music and talking on the radio to all my friends and family in Northern Colorado. I LOVE music, all kinds of music! I also love talking, all kinds of talking! If you think there is a better job for me out there, you let me know! Other than music and talking, I’m a bowler, yes a bowler, I usually get funny looks when I say that. I used to do a lot more of it, but now it's more for fun rather than a job. I am also blessed to have a beautiful daughter, Shai, who was born in June 2008, and love showing her off! My son Quinntyn was born in December of 2010, and although I have learned raising little boys is almost like having another job, I wouldn't trade him for the world. My kids have become my life, and have given me a different outlook on life than I had just a few short years ago. I really believe in the religion of love. Love everyone, be nice to everyone, and smile, and this world will be a great place to live in. I’m addicted to ice cream and donuts, and I’m a firm believer that nothings more important than family, my Dad and Grandma will always be the biggest heroes in my book for the contributions and support they have given me throughout my life. Although life seems chaotic and sometimes even hard, at the end of the day I thank my lucky stars and God for everything I have, and wouldn’t have it any other way. “We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have.”  ~Frederick Keonig Find me on Facebook or Email me, Id love to hear from you!

Commuting is a stressful daily activity for much of the American workforce and it is not something most people enjoy doing. I can't say that I have ever felt so passionate about something like I do about this event. That is why I would love for you to clear July 15th off of your calendar and make plans to join me at Water Valley in Windsor for my 1st Annual Lures 4 Laney.

Why Is Shawn Patrick’s Face Black? [VIDEO]

I really wish I had a cooler story to tell the people who come up and ask about the "dirt" on my face, but it is a quite simple one. We are giving away a brand new truck on one of our sister stations, and the guys around the building are growing beards until we give that sucker away (if that's what you want to call them). I took my beard to the next level last night and made 'er black! And now the world knows why Shawn Patrick's face is black.

Kids Really Do Say the Darnedest Things – What’s the Worst Yours Have Said?

A Denver 6-year-old is getting national attention for repeating lyrics of a pop song to a fellow classmate. D’Avonte Meadows, a first grader, is accused of sexual harassment and was suspended for three days after singing the lyrics of LMFAO’s smash hit “Sexy and I Know It” to a 6-year-old female classmate. Now, if this is as big of a deal as people are making it, I am thinking I am in trouble because my 3-year-old daughter already leaves me speechless with the things she says at times.

Should the Broncos Replace Tim Tebow With Peyton Manning? – Survey of the Day

For the better part of the last 13 years the most consistently "good" quarterback, or football player in general, was the Indianapolis Colts' Peyton Manning. A bad neck kept him out all of last season, and also gave the Colts the worst record in the NFL, which also gave them rights to the first pick in the next draft. With the best player available in said draft being a quarterback, it was time for the Colts to part way with the now 35 year old Manning.  Now more than half of the teams in the NFL have some interest in Manning including the Broncos. Should the Broncos ditch Tim Tebow for Manning?

First Place Doesn’t Always Make You a Winner

I am not usually the type of person that gets on a soapbox and preaches about my opinions or about how I think people should act. I have always had one motto, and its simple... Live, love, and smile. Today though, I have to tell you about something that has gotten under my skin a little bit. People who think if they win a game, are famous, or for some reason just think they have the right to be jerks. A.K.A Egomaniacs. In my opinion, they will always lose.
