Butch

I was born and raised in Greeley, Colorado. Growing up in such a beautiful area has given me an appreciation for what we have here, and I truly embrace the city and all of Northern Colorado. I graduated from the Ohio Center for Broadcasting with a degree in broadcasting in 2009, and it is a dream come true to be playing music and talking on the radio to all my friends and family in Northern Colorado. I LOVE music, all kinds of music! I also love talking, all kinds of talking! If you think there is a better job for me out there, you let me know! Other than music and talking, I’m a bowler, yes a bowler, I usually get funny looks when I say that. I used to do a lot more of it, but now it's more for fun rather than a job. I am also blessed to have a beautiful daughter, Shai, who was born in June 2008, and love showing her off! My son Quinntyn was born in December of 2010, and although I have learned raising little boys is almost like having another job, I wouldn't trade him for the world. My kids have become my life, and have given me a different outlook on life than I had just a few short years ago. I really believe in the religion of love. Love everyone, be nice to everyone, and smile, and this world will be a great place to live in. I’m addicted to ice cream and donuts, and I’m a firm believer that nothings more important than family, my Dad and Grandma will always be the biggest heroes in my book for the contributions and support they have given me throughout my life. Although life seems chaotic and sometimes even hard, at the end of the day I thank my lucky stars and God for everything I have, and wouldn’t have it any other way. “We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have.”  ~Frederick Keonig Find me on Facebook or Email me, Id love to hear from you!

Pet Cemetery to Be Dug Up at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado – And You Thought It was Haunted Before

Just in time for Halloween like something out of a bad horror movie, officials from the Stanley Hotel have reveled plans to dig up the hotel's infamous pet cemetery and move it to a new location to make room for a new wedding venue. Ghost hunters think it may be a bad idea!

Make an Online Donation to Lures 4 Laney

Last July, you may remember us putting on an event to remember a little girl Northern Colorado lost to brain cancer a few years back, Delaney Wadsworth. Lures 4 Laney was held at Water Valley in Windsor and raised almost $10,000 in Delaney's name for children's cancer research at Children's Hospital Colorado. The event has changed, but the cause hasn't, and we would love your help. Please donate here.

People Doing Things They Shouldn’t During Colorado Floods [PICTURES]

Call me insensitive, but I do remember when the floods started getting bad on Friday afternoon, asking a few friends if we should get out the tubes we use during the summer to go down the river, and using them to tube down the flooded streets. Seems like I wasn't the only one with mischievous ideas... The difference is these people actually did crazy stuff...

City of Evans Issues a Mandatory Do Not Flush as Water Treatment Center Fails

This is really going to stink... Literally. Residents east of 35th Ave. in Evans will be without the ability to use the waste water system for a minimum of 10 days. Meaning no showers, no flushing, and no use of water that would end up down a drain...

Video Shows Poudre River Flooding at Different Spots Around Northern Colorado [VIDEO]

On a day where many are staying as far away from rivers in Northern Colorado like the South Platte, the Big Thompson, and the Cache la Poudre, and for good reason, there are a few folks who are getting as close as they can so we smart/scardy-pants folks can see whats going on a ground zero.

Officials Inspect Dams at Horsetooth Reservoir

During a crisis the worst thing that can, and does happen is a little thing we learned about in kindergarten... The telephone effect, or rumors. People talking about information that may not be true, or may get twisted as it gets passed along. One rumor we have heard today that is NOT true has to do with the dams at Horsetooth Reservoir. They ARE safe!

Matt Duchene of the Colorado Avalanche Buys Boston Bruins Jersey For Bullied Kid

Just because they're a whole bunch of dudes who don't like to shave, with no teeth, running into each other and even fighting, it doesn't mean hockey players don't have big hearts. And although I am not the biggest hockey fan in the world, I have found myself a new favorite player. Not because of what he has done for the Colorado Avalanche, but what he did off the ice.
