I was born a Pennsylvania boy, but I think I was always destined for Colorado Radio. One of my greatest love as a teenager and young adult was listening to great music on my Walkman while skiing the respectable but sometimes snow starved slopes of the Appalachians. After a1996 ski trip to Crested Butte, the blessing of over a foot of fresh powder, and a night out to a Leftover Salmon show where I met many like-minded locals, I decided that after graduation from Penn State, I would point the car west and call the Rocky Mountains home. Since then, I have adopted Colorado. I met my wife at a most unlikely place...a rodeo. There might be nicer places in America to call home, but I don't even care to go looking for them. I have been so welcomed by this community and I feel so lucky to be on the air here, to work for a company that allows us to do local radio properly, and to just call Northern Colorado my home.
