National Forest Service Reminds Mountain Visitors to be Cautious Around Trees Due to Recent High Winds
Recent high winds over 100 mph in the Colorado high country have caused serious safety concerns, closed mountain roads and have caused property damage. If you plan on visiting the mountains or foothills in the near future, our local Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forest Service is encouraging visitors to use extra caution.

Occupy Fort Collins Activists Leave Old Town Site, Plan to Relocate
There were no signs, no more tents, no more activists at the corner of Jefferson/Maple and College Avenue in Fort Collins as of 8AM this morning. Occupy Fort Collins protesters have left the corner in Old Town. According to a post on the Occupy Fort Collins Facebook page, they want to make the site more portable so they can move it about in Fort Collins.
Larimer and Weld County Foreclosure Filings Drop in Third Quarter
More good news for the Northern Colorado economy. Foreclosure filings fell sharply in the 3rd quarter in Larimer and Weld Counties and statewide according to a recent report from the Colorado Division of Housing. Weld County foreclosures drop by 27.6 percent, Larimer County also saw a sharp decline, dropping 24.3 percent compared to 2010.

Fort Collins police have arrested 29-year-old Benjamin David Gilmore on charges of arson in the October 24, 2011 Old Town Fire that destroyed a condominium complex and businesses at 311 Mason Street.
