Poudre School District Kindergarten Registration Deadline is February 9th for Fall 2012

It’s time to start thinking about the fall school year already. If you have children who will be 5 years of age on or before Sept. 15, 2012, you are eligible to register your child for kindergarten. Poudre School District’s registration deadline is February 9th. Did you know you can select the school that best fits your child’s needs? The PSD School Choice program allows parents to select the school they chose.

It’s the season of cold and flu. Everyone around the office seems to be sneezing or coughing. I have a nice head cold in the works and am taking zinc, vitamin C and drinking lots of water, but was wondering what else would help. Do you have an old laptop just sitting around that you’ve been meaning to get rid of? Well, it’s time to recycle it and divert it from the landfill and help the Poudre School District at the same time. It’s a win-win. The City of Fort Collins is partnering with Greenback LLC to collect laptop computers at the Rivendell Recycling Center. There is a new bright green laptop recycling bin with a special slot just for laptops.

CSU Football Coach Steve Fairchild Spent Time With His New Boss Friday

CSU football coach, Steve Fairchild had some time to get to know his new boss, Jack Graham today. The pair drove from Fort Collins to Wyoming for the Bronze Boot run so they had some time to visit. Thursday, Graham was named the new athletic director for Colorado State University and Fairchild has had a less-than-great season (3-9,) with speculation recently that his job could be in jeopardy.
